For dental audiences, I present programs on pediatric management,
pediatric nutrition, and pre-natal to pre-school care. In addition, I’ve
spoken informally to small groups on a variety of topics including
writing, indexing, newspaper work, and motorcycling.

Since working as wire editor and feature writer at a small daily
newspaper, and doing freelance features for a daily metropolitan
paper, I’ve become a fast and efficient writer. I’ve published
thousands of newspaper articles, more than 100 magazine articles,
and several short stories. I'm a member of Writers Anonymous.

Dental Hygienist
With 29 years' experience in general dentistry, three years'
experience as a temp hygienist, and seven years' experience in
pediatric dentistry, I have a wide view of office practices and
philosophies. I'm a member of the American Dental Hygienists
Association and the Tri-County Ohio Dental Hygienists Association.
I participate in the Hu-Friedy Thought Leader Program, the RDH Key
Influencer Program, the Editorial Board of RDH Magazine, the GC
Americas Key Opinion Leader program, the Colgate Oral Health
Advisor Program, and was a charter member of the Allied Advisory
Committee of the Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry.
I'm an active supporter of the National Children's Oral Health
Foundation, and serve on the Oral Cancer Awareness Committee of
Amy's List.
