I’m a reliable, self-motivated person who has built an
individualized career that encompasses indexing,
writing, speaking, and dental hygiene. I’m always
ready to learn something new, and I’m experienced
with tight deadlines.
As owner of R&C Indexing, I've been a professional
indexer for eight years, writing back-of-the book
indexes in wide-ranging subjects for a variety of
publishers.
As a dental hygienist, I work 13 hours a week and
present occasional continuing education programs.
As a writer, I'm widely published in non-fiction, and
began selling fiction in 2009.
My interests include motorcycling, traveling, camping,
hiking, reading, winemaking, and learning new things.
As a volunteer, I'm active in my church. I work at a
local food bank once a month, and serve on the
advisory council of the Columbiana County RSVP. I'm
a past officer of the Ohio Tri-County Dental Hygienists
Association, and a past president and officer of the
Heartland chapter of the American Society for
Indexing.
As part of my continuing ed programs, I do
fundraising for the National Children's Oral Health
Foundation.
